Welcome to adult by mistake!
My name is Natasha and I started this blog as a way to connect with others out there who are just like me. I keep trying to figure out “what’s next” for me and I feel like I’m flying along this path to get to the end but I have no idea what that end is! That scared me and so I wanted to try to figure out what the end is.
Then I got to thinking… I might not ever know what my end is supposed to be. It’s all about the experiences along the way. So this blog is a way for me to let anyone reading know a little bit about me and my journey and hopefully help others travelling along their own journeys!
I met my husband about 7 years ago and after a whirlwind romance, ended up getting married a year later and moving to a completely new place to be with him. I currently run a successful retail business where I get to deal with amazing customers who I absolutely love. Mostly. My husband works mainly night shifts so I hardly get to see him since I work days. This can get pretty lonely since it’s only us and we don’t have much family here. I also struggle every day to figure out what to cook for dinner, how to manage our finances and how to enjoy some time travelling together while working such opposite schedules! It’s such a wild ride!
In the last 10 years, I’ve obtained a lot of experience in a variety of different fields. I’ve managed finance companies from top to bottom and I’ve run a few different businesses for some time. Then I decided to open up my own retail shop which is a completely different beast! That was all in my 20s and now that I’ve hit the big 3-0, I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to take care of my home and family while enjoying what I do. Adulting is HARD.
Thanks for joining me on my journey! I plan to share some helpful and inspiring tidbits I’ve learned along the way on budgeting, running your own business and managing a household, all while trying to have fun with those you love!
I’d love for you to join me while I try to maneuver through this thing we call life! Grab a cup of tea (or coffee) and stay a while! xx
